The methodology of data backup in accordance to General data protection regulation

The main topic of this thesis is creating a methodology for data backups in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). After analysis of individual regulation sections, processes and methods of proper data backups will be defined. The thesis will also concern itself with different backup media types and related technology. Outcome of the text will be the creation of a specific method useful for change control.
Module Extending Functionality of GDPR Solution

The goal of this thesis is to introduced the principles of access control technologies, the General Data Protection Regulation and the software for data leakage protection. An essential part of the work is a draft and implementation of the expansion module for user device authentication including shared storage access authorization. Therefore, this module allows to verify whether a user can access shared corporate resources. It also allows to enable or disable access based on specified attributes, such as the type of the protected service or user permission. The basic verification of the module's functionality is realized through different sets of tests and a virtual environment that simulates the corporate environment. The result of the draft is a module that allows to verify access based on the device, and this module is moreover integrated into the Safetica security platform.

Thesis focuses on the most frequent threats on information security and describes the best practices which are compliant with the ISO/IEC 27000. It contains the proposal of security recommendation that will help the organisation with ensuring better information security and with the preparation for GDPR

This Diploma thesis investigates protection of privacy and personal data. In the literary research it is dedicated to embedding of the current legislation on the protection of personal data, privacy, the rights and obligations of involved parties and the consequences of their violations. The work itself deals with processes for handling personal data at the workplace in selected business company. The pro-cessing of personal data during the entire life cycle of the employment is ana-lyzed. Next section of the thesis is also devoted to the processing of personal data and the proper fullfilment of the predefined obligations. The work is also devoted to the protection of the employee's privacy and the protection of the employer's ownership rights. In the conclusion, corrective measures are proposed, based on identified deficiencies.

The diploma thesis is focused on the protection of privacy and personal data in labour relations. The literature research is devoted to the definition of basic terms, the legal base of the protection of personal data and privacy, the rights and obligations of the parties, the supervisory authority and the sanctions related to the non-compliance of obligations imposed by the law. The research focuses on the conflict of interest of the employer and the right to privacy of the employee and the degree of legitimacy of workplace monitoring. The original research part deals with the analysis of personal data protection and privacy measures in the chosen business organization during the whole process from the beginning of the selection process, during the duration of the employment relationship to its termination. Subsequently, the ways of monitoring employees and their legitimacy are evaluated. Based on analysed facts, corrective recommendations, including the economic aspect, are proposed in conclusion of the thesis.

The position of the data protection officer in the light of labour law

The position of the data protection officer in the light of labour law Abstract The data protection officer is a specialist in law and practices in the area of data protection. His task is to help to controller and processor to fulfil their obligations associated with data processing. He can perform his function as an employee of a controller or a processor or on the basis of a service contract. His status has certain specifications that the character of some labour law provisions doesn't count with. Although uncertainty about the possibility to give him a dismissal or ask him for damages does not cause problems due to only recent changes of legal regulation yet, disputes that may arise in the future will be expected not only before the Czech courts. The main problem of the issue is, whether the labour law regulation can be extended without further delay to the employed data protection officer in the light of his specific independent position, which is guaranteed him by data protection law. The aim of the thesis is to try to solve problematic aspects of the establishment of the data protection officer in the light of Czech labour law institutes. Quality management system focused on information system in the selected enterprise

This thesis is focused on the quality management system. The object of the thesis is to analyse the current situation of the quality management system. Based on the results, we suggest measures to increase security and data protection in the selected enterprise. The selected enterprise is GEFOS, a.s., which provides comprehensive services in geodesy, photogrammetry, geoinformation systems and land register. The thesis can be divided into the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part is focused on definition of key concepts in the fields of quality management and information system. The practical part consists of four other separate parts, namely the characteristic of the selected company, an analysis of the current situation of the quality management system, and finally suggestions for improvement of security and data protection. The suggestions are focused on requirements provided by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Information for the practical part was obtained by document analysis and a semi-structured interview with the company management.
